Charlotte is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated Manga Cum Laude with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Art History.
Before turning to a career in law, Charlotte worked as the Account Manager/Digital Director of Swârt Advertising, where she led branding initiatives and supervised projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven entertainment marketing environment. She also conceived and implemented digital media strategy to craft and strengthen brands, including websites, email marketing, and social media.
Prior to her experience at Swârt Advertising, Charlotte was an Event Director at the Student Alumni Association at UCLA, and conceived and directed a new event, including branding, sourcing speakers, and performing outreach. She also helped coordinate Dinners for 12 Strangers (a 50 year-old tradition that connects current students with UCLA alumni) at over 400 alumni homes with more than 3,700 Bruins attending.
Charlotte served as a founding board member of FeelGood UCLA, as well as Vice President of the Feminist Club, founding board member of the Food Recovery Network, and Fundraising Director of Omicron Mu Delta at Pasadena City College.
Charlotte has volunteered with various organizations including Food Forward, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and Planned Parenthood.
