Tomas is a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in History after only three years.
Before working for Cader Adams, Tomas had many professional and personal experiences that prepared him for a fulfilling career in law. While still in undergrad, he worked at the boutique Santa Barbara-based Civil Litigation firm, Cappello & Noel, and contributed personally to a major class action oil spill lawsuit that resulted in a settlement deal in excess of sixty million dollars, among others. Before that, he interned for Criminal Superior Court Judge Brian E. Hill of Santa Barbara, who he credits with being a mentor to much of his personal and professional growth, as well as the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office for the Grand Jury Legal Advisor.
During university, Tomas was dedicated to the UCSB Mock Trial Team, and he spent much of his time and energy improving his litigation and legal argumentation abilities. During his last year, he was elected Team Captain, and led his team to victory at all levels of competition. In addition, he was an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Co-Ed Pre-Law Fraternity, where he held a Committee Chair position and helped younger students gain necessary professional and personal skills for a successful legal career.
In the future, Tomas hopes to attend law school and become a civil litigator, so that he can help everyday people fight difficult legal battles and help them overcome significant losses.
