White Collar Defense
We have decades of experience defending individuals facing criminal prosecution, in all stages from investigation through trial. Christine Adams is a former federal prosecutor and Yasmin Cader is a former state and federal public defender and Department of Justice Civil Rights Division attorney. We are intimately familiar with every phase of a criminal case and have prevailed in dozens of criminal trials, across the nation. We also understand the value of-- and are adept at-- resolving a case quickly and quietly before charges are filed.
As former Department of Justice lawyers, we have a unique and deep understanding of the government’s perspective and approach in criminal and regulatory cases. Our experience enables us to navigate grand jury investigations effectively and optimize opportunities to negotiate pre-indictment dispositions. As former law clerks in the federal district and appellate courts, we understand which issues are critical in a case and how to present them to the court and to a jury.
Our specialties include accounting, bank, healthcare, insurance, securities and tax fraud, corruption, computer crimes, insider trading, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
